long. Integument generally metallic greenish-black; head, pronotum and elytra golden-green with brown suture and sides; epipleura and shoulders reddish in some specimens, particularly in females. First antennomeres bluish-black, rest of antenna black. Colour of legs variable, in males fore- and midfemora usually reddish, and hind femora black although in some females femora entirely red. Distal half of fore tibiae reddish and rest black, mid- and hind- tibiae black, except for some females in which they are reddish. Tarsi yellowish. Underside of body entirely metallic green in females and males with last abdominal segments entirely orange. Underside entirely clothed in short golden tomentum.

Large bulging eyes, superior lobe small. Short broad mandibles bearing a weak medial tooth on inner margin. Trapezoidal epistoma, its anterior margin unpunctuated. Antennal bases narrowly separated by a longitudinal furrow. Long robust antennae, extending past elytral apex at antennomere 11, in females reaching only apical third. Robust scape that lacks an external distal tooth but has a weak transversal protuberance. Third antennomere twice as long as first, all antennomeres with a carina on external margin separating two sensitive areas, slightly acuminate at external distal apex. Underside of head smooth and finely punctate, base of labium narrow. Pronotum slightly transverse in males (30/40) and somewhat more so in females (39/51). Anterior and posterior margins narrowed and finely bordered, sides weakly arched and bearing a rounded gibbosity at middle. Anterior part of discal area smooth and shiny, finely punctate, disc bearing five protuberances, four central ones and a medial posterior one, posterior protuberances more pronounced. Prosternum with anterior collar border black and smooth, remaining surface green and finely punctate, prosternal process wide and black-bordered, central part reddish, dilated posteriorly in such a way as to close procoxal cavities. Sides of pronotum covered in long golden setae, denser in males than in females. Triangular scutellum, strongly acuminate at posterior apex, smooth, shiny and slightly depressed centrally, with golden tomentum at both sides.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="FB0336CAFFB3FFC9FF43E424F74EF90D" blockId="1.[151,1437,327,1973]" pageId="1" pageNumber="195">Long parallel elytra, weakly projecting rounded shoulders, clothed in golden tomentum. Apex rounded, suture flat and finely bordered. Discal area somewhat flattened in males, more convex in females, it has two oblique reddish lines bordering scutellum. Elytral surface rough with two weak longitudinal ribs that are rather inconspicuous and disappear at apical third. Epipleura oranges at base and narrowed after middle. Mesosternum short and wide with a bordered mesosternal process that is cleaved at posterior border. Metasternum short and wide, longitudinally furrowed, with fine scattered punctures and short dense pubescence. Abdominal segments with fine scattered punctures and golden tomentum on both sides. Long robust legs with fore- and mid-femora dilated at middle, hind femora long and slender, slightly widened at distal third. Fore-tibiae short and straight, presenting a fine longitudinal rib internally. Metatibiae long and flattened, slightly sinuate, tarsi are wide and short, first segment weakly compressed.</paragraph>
