Both sexes with general color of body and appendages blackish, except base of rostrum yellowish brown. Pronotum with posterior angle terminating in a process (similar to

C). Male hind femur with a row of small teeth on inner surface, absent in female. Male without projections on abdominal sternite VII, but with a strong gibosity on each side of the posterior margin of this segment. Male proctiger without dorsal elevation. Described from the macropterous form, and previously recorded only from the

locality in Pará State. It is herein recorded for the first time from Rondônia.
