Cells are Gram-staining-positive, non-flagellated and rod-shaped. Colonies are circler, convex, entire and cream colored after 10 days on TSA at 30°C. Negative for arginine dihydrolase, esculin hydrolysis,
<emphasis id="B95CEAF29F64144A68194B3CFAA3FBA5" box="[1303,1318,1077,1101]" italics="true" pageId="11" pageNumber="36">β</emphasis>
-galactosidase, gelatinase, glucose fermentation, indole production, nitrate reduction and urease in API 20NE. Does not utilize
<emphasis id="B95CEAF29F64144A6E784B9EFC0DFB46" box="[886,904,1175,1198]" italics="true" pageId="11" pageNumber="36">N</emphasis>
-acetyl-glucosamine, adipic acid, L-arabinose, capric acid, D-glucose, malic acid, D-maltose, D-mannitol, phenylacetic acid, potassium gluconate and trisodium citrate. Weakly utilize the D-mannose. Strain C3- 50 (= NIBRBAC000498028) has been isolated from a natural cave,
