Antennal scaphocerite is almost transparent with a red margin laterally. The base of the epigastric tooth is red with white patches. Agatti specimen have 2+2+2/10 teeth on the rostrum, the ratio of rostrum and carapace was 1.7 and ratio of the telson and sixth abdominal somite was 0.8, wherein specimens of Gulf of Mannar, rostral dentition was 2+2+2/9, rostrum 1.51.66 times longer than carapace and telson was 0.75 times as long as the sixth somite.
