Remarks.—A previously monospecific genus that is characterized by blunt head that is much narrower than the mesonotum, the anterior postclypeus not extending beyond supra-antennal plates, the mesonotum is longer than the head and prothorax combined, the completely visible dorsal metanotum that is about as large as the cruciform elevation, the male abdomen is conical posterior to the third segment, and the pygofer distal shoulders are not developed.
