differs from the

by having some of the ventral setae of the gonocoxa shorter and curved, resembling the setae of some other species of

. So far as the latter character is concerned, the difference between the new specimen and the

) is rather striking, but we believe that it is because the aedeagus-tegmen complex is not in an identical position on the mounts. A similar variation is also known in some other species, e.g.
