GEOGRAPHIC DISTRIBUTION: The Hawaiian Islands. Based on the present study,

</taxonomicName>
presents a much narrower distribution range than previously thought, being restricted to the
<typeStatus id="54FF88571B5FFFA2FC6C6D99FBC4F9D2" box="[980,1028,1514,1539]" pageId="10" pageNumber="11">type</typeStatus>
location. Records of the species from outside the Hawaiian Islands await further study.
