. Forewing length 9.510.0 mm. Head, labial palpi, thorax, legs and abdomen grey. Antennae dark-grey with some brownish shade. Forewing grey, with indistinct pattern represented by 16 marginal black dots, and by scarce dark scales suffusion concentrated into oblique stroke in the middle part of the wing. Hindwing slightly lighter than forewing, without pattern. Fringes whitish with grey scales.

). Uncus narrow from the lateral view, shorter than tegumen, with pointed apex. Gnathos much longer than uncus, about the same width as uncus, with hook-shaped apex. Saccus pointed. Valvae almost triangular with curved sclerotized dorsal process and rather wide, apically rounded membranous cucullus. Aedeagus almost straight, slightly curved in its middle part, with rounded apex and long (about 1/4 of the total length of the aedeagus) apical thorn, large subapical triangular tooth and additional large medial triangular tooth; sclerotized belt rather thin and started from about 60% of the aedeagus length.

), a well-known Russian lepidopterist, who organized the trip during which this new species was collected.

. The moths were collected at the end of September in alpine dry meadows next to the scree and rocks in the valley of a small stream at the

above sea level using autonomous automatic light trap. The same place visited by the second author several times in early June, in the beginning and in the end of July and in the beginning of August gave no additional material.
