is characterised by the short elytra that are wider than long. Moreover, the pseudo-punctures of the elytra are combined to large deep impressions covered by a wide netlike microsculpture. In contrast to the other species of the group, the head is without microsculpture and shiny. The apical lobe of the aedeagus is widened in the apical half similar as in
