“Black; white-haired head; clypeus with some punctures and a mid-longitudinal groove; the antennae black. Mesonotum finely punctate, the scutellum with finer punctures, pilosity on both, fuscous. Anteriorly to the tegulae, there is a patch of long, orange hairs on each side, giving the insect a very beautiful appearance. Abdomen almost glabrous; the thorax ventrally, white-haired; legs fuscous, white-haired; scopa on hind femora somewhat yellowish. Tegulae testaceous; wings hyaline, the veins fuscous. Length
