The piece of amber is elliptical in shape (45 × 23 ×
<quantity id="4CE3E3FBFFCE140DFC6A85F210D2FC2C" box="[937,1008,982,1006]" metricMagnitude="-3" metricUnit="m" metricValue="7.0" pageId="7" pageNumber="48" unit="mm" value="7.0">7 mm</quantity>
). The fossil is a female moth with an intact head (although the right antenna is broken) with most of the mouthparts visible, and the left hind wing is nicely spread allowing the examination of both the fore- and hindwing venation. A mite is attached to its left compound eye.
