). Scutum triangular with occludent margin convex. Right scutum with inner umbonal tooth, sometimes rudimentary. Scutum sometimes with dark marking or spots, carina branched below umbo. Tergum triangular to quadrangular with occludent margin convex or angular, apex almost truncated. Carina generally smooth, occasionally barbed. Peduncle variable in length, sometimes several times longer than capitulum. Caudal appendages short and claw-shaped. Maxilla globular with setae over margins (Fig.
