Head with labial palp yellow, palpomeres 2 and 3 dorsally black; frons greyish black with metallic sheen and white adjacent to the eye; vertex with rather short and smooth black scales, a yellow spot between antenna and ocellus; antenna black; pericephalic scales yellow. Thorax black with dark blue metallic gloss; patagia black; prothorax laterally and tegula yellow. Abdomen long and slender with long and narrow anal tuft; tergites 13 black, sparsely mottled with orange scales; tergite 4 and 5 orange-red, dorso-anteriorly a small black spot; tergites 6 and 7 dorsally completely black, laterally orange-red; sternites orange with golden shine; anal tuft long, predominantly black with narrow orange-red lateral stripe, ventrally orange-red, tip of scales whitish grey. Foreleg orange-yellow; other legs orange with coxa, femur and tibia latero-proximally glossy black; hindleg with tibia and first tarsomere entirely covered with rough, red hair-like scales. Forewing narrow with large transparent areas, longitudinal transparent area extending to discal spot, external transparent area large, six-partite; apical area very narrow; discal spot narrow, as well as veins, margins and costal area black. Hindwing with discal spot, veins and margins black. Fringes greyish black. Underside of both wings basally yellow, distal half of forewing discal spot mottled with yellow scales. Male genitalia (
