The carapace surface of the two mancas is smooth with small dimples, one to two spines close to the anterior part of the frontal lobe, and a pair of anteriorly directed spines on the pseudorostral lobes. The telson is longer than the uropod peduncle and there are no lateral setae at the postanal margin, maybe the lateral setae are not yet developed due to the young stage of the specimens. The extremities do have a long and strong tooth at the distal margins of the basis, which are also present in the subadult male
