This species was described from an unspecified number of females; two females were found which agreed with the description. Although the published type locality is
<collectingCountry id="FBDD76216C6CFF92923ABCAFBB7F12F6" box="[1024,1130,902,928]" name="United Kingdom" pageId="56" pageNumber="57">Scotland</collectingCountry>
, there is no reason to exclude the English specimen from the type series because Kieffer is known to have misinterpreted many of the localities on Camerons specimens. Both

are mounted on cards; the one from

is entire, the one from Box Hill has the tip of the left antenna missing.
