A differs from its congeners of this study by having very tapered snout; wide and conspicuous vertical bars in the lateral of body in both juveniles and adults specimens; longitudinal dark band occupying one or more scales; one-two dark, wide and conspicuous bands in half of caudal fin rays and another in the base of first and posterior caudal fin ray.
