Cryptocyst extensive, comprising wide, rounded mural rim, granulated on sides and top, with coarse ridges perpendicular to opesia on inside of mural rim; mural rim smooth laterally and distally in opercular region. Opesia extensive, often irregular in outline.</paragraph>
