Differs from other species by having medium sized basidiomes, with pinkish to pale brownish-orange colors, smooth to finely squarrose surfaces, especially on the stipe, basal mycelium with whitish to pale brownish with pinkish tinges, and globose, echinulate basidiospores, 7-10 (-11.5)
