) seem to mistake the distal extension of the gonocoxite with the gonostyle itself. It seems more likely that the gonostyle corresponds to one of the distal furcations of the “style”, the large distal projection being an extension of the gonocoxite, as in the remaining Neotropical species of the genus. The drawing also seems to be in ventral view, despite the indication to the contrary.
