This species emerges near the beginning of the rainy season in
<collectingRegion id="498C29EC98230B26FBC6F93B493F1C99" box="[1055,1148,1730,1754]" country="United States of America" name="Florida" pageId="24" pageNumber="23">Florida</collectingRegion>
, usually in May or June (Mark Deyrup, Archbold Biological Station, pers. comm.), but apparently ceases to fly soon thereafter. A trip to the Archbold Biological Station in early July, 2005, failed to yield any specimens.
