Head pale fuscous, eyes large; labial palpus straight, segments 1 &amp; 2 clothed with rough scales, mixed dark and pale fuscous, segment 3 narrow; maxillary palpus conspicuous, rough scaled; antenna fulvous. Thorax pale fuscous. Forewing dark brown, paler along veins; an indistinct pale narrow subbasal fascia; a pale antemedian fascia; discal spot blackish; a further pale irregular postmedian fascia; subterminal area pale, terminal line dark fuscous. Hindwing pale fuscous; a pale median fascia, narrow on dorsum, broadening towards costa, containing dull fuscous lunule; terminal line dark fuscous; underside of hindwing with conspicuous discal spot.

<paragraph id="8BD536EDFFD2656AFF1344A9FEDAC7F3" blockId="22.[151,1436,1197,2013]" pageId="22" pageNumber="23">Male genitalia (Fig. 99): Uncus broad, spatulate, slightly curved downwards; gnathos 0.7 x length of uncus, strongly tapered then apex is bent sharply away from uncus bearing 3–4 teeth on dorsal surface. Valva slightly broader beyong middle, three specialised setae arising from near apex which are bent in irregular shapes; saccus slightly indented centrally. Aedeagus gently curved, vesica with a cluster of cornuti which is almost 0.2 x length of aedeagus. Sternum 8 sclerotised towards the sides and bearing two blunt points along posterior edge, separated by a U-shaped incision.</paragraph>

Female genitalia (Fig. 151): Ostial chamber cylindrical, slightly contracted to colliculum, which is almost as long as ostial chamber; ductus bursae short and slightly wrinkled; corpus bursae a long ovoid shape without signum. BMNH
