The
<specimenCount id="9D25FD5E3D4CFF87FF049B34FE1FF917" box="[251,410,1650,1676]" pageId="18" pageNumber="19" type="generic">29 specimens</specimenCount>
examined had visible buccal armature (several rows of small teeth at the anterior band, one row of triangular-shaped teeth at the posterior band, and a transversal crest system composed of three ventral and three dorsal), more or less visible depending on the position of the specimen. Three rod-shaped macroplacoids were present, third macroplacoid longest, and second macroplacoid shortest. Microplacoid, when present, was very small. Besides, we detected lunules with smooth and irregular margins (maybe very small teeth); one of the samples contained specimens with the two
<typeStatus id="549888753D4CFF87FC9B9A7CFC27F8CF" box="[868,930,1850,1876]" pageId="18" pageNumber="19">types</typeStatus>
of lunules. I have observed ocular spots in
<specimenCount id="9D25FD5E3D4CFF87FF689A24FEBFF8E7" box="[151,314,1890,1916]" pageId="18" pageNumber="19" type="generic">20 specimens</specimenCount>
. I counted between 12 and 21 processes per hemisphere from the
<specimenCount id="9D25FD5E3D4CFF87FBC39A24FB13F8E7" box="[1084,1174,1890,1916]" pageId="18" pageNumber="19" type="egg">23 eggs</specimenCount>
examined and 9 or 10 polygonal areas around each process. Body size range was 440 to 1188 μm, mean 745 μm (SD 141). The species is considered cosmopolitan (
