Head wider than long, reticulate only behind eyes, ocellar setae I absent; ocellar triangle smooth; at least one pair of postocular setae longer than others; maxillary palps 2-segmented. ) enlarged but not reaching to mesosternum. Fore wing first and second veins with incomplete setal rows; clavus with 1 veinal setae but without discal setae; posterior fringe cilia wavy. Tarsi 2-segmented. Abdominal tergites with broad entire craspedum; microtrichia and ctenidia absent; tergite VIII without posteromarginal comb; tergite IX with only posterior CPS. Sternites also with broad entire craspedum; sternites IIVII with three pairs of posteromarginal setae; sternite VII with two pairs of extra setae and all posteromarginal setae submarginal. Male without sternal pore plates or with one minute (
