The forewing pattern of this new species is similar to all species of the

<emphasis id="19CCEADEFF8F8F4BFBE2FB7AFB6E4C90" box="[1116,1220,1233,1259]" italics="true" pageId="20" pageNumber="171">hispidula</emphasis>
</taxonomicName>
species-group, and the venation of both wings are well accordant with the
<typeStatus id="F403886EFF8F8F4BFCBAFB5EFC9E4D74" box="[772,820,1269,1295]" pageId="20" pageNumber="171">type</typeStatus>
species of the genus. The species can be distinguished from its congeners by the forewing markings, especially the peanut-shaped, dark brown zone between postmedian band and termen.

Forewing ground color dark yellowish brown, with dark brown basal streak; sub-basal band yellowish white; antemedian band narrow, yellowish white, nearly parallel sided, zigzagged margins; a crescent, oblique streak near end of discal cell; postmedian band narrow, yellowish white, slightly broadened at costa; area between postmedian band and termen more or less peanut-shaped, dark brown; costa slightly arched in basal 1/3 and near 2/3, then oblique; apex produced; termen slightly concave beyond M
