. Head comparatively long, rectangular. Rostrum longer, sides of rostrum parallel, dorsum with one central carina, this carina wide, forming longitudinal bulge reaching from posterior margin of scrobes to line of middle of eyes. Anterior part of rostrum weakly elevated in middle. Eyes spherical, not emarginate. Antennae robust, reach almost to or extending beyond apex of elytra in male and distinctly extending beyond posterior margin of pronotum in female. Male antennae: scape robust, pedicel smaller and narrower, antennomeres III–VIII slightly flattened laterally, mainly antennomeres III–V with very distinct dense erect pubescence on lower sides, antennomeres VI–VIII only with short erect pubescence or without it. Club distinctly flattened, each antennomere longer than wide. Female antennae: scape robust, pedicel small, antennomeres III–VIII slightly flattened laterally, antennomeres III–VII with very distinct dense erect pubescence, longer on lower side, shorter on upper side, antennomere VIII with only dense appressed setae, club flattened, antennomere X wider than long. Pronotum elongate, slightly narrowing anteriorly. Disc of pronotum with distinct wide depression in posterior part. Dorsal transverse carina distinct but widely interrupted in middle. Lateral carina very long, reaching nearly to anterior margin of pronotum, rounded at contact with dorsal transverse carina.. Elytra long-rectangular, slightly narrowing posteriorly. Dorsal part of elytra flat up to elytral interval III, then sloping to lateral margins. Apex of elytra with two distinct projections.
