Fur is paler under chin, and upper part of face is dark gray to black, and lower partis silvery with clear demarcation. Ears are large, and feet are pale. Tail is ¢.66% of head-body length, thick but thicker around base, hairy and covered with scattered longer bristle hairs, and bicolored, being grayish brown above and lighter below. There are three unicuspids. Chromosomal complement has 2n = 44 and FN = 66.</paragraph>
