Length 6 lines.-Black and shining: head small, much narrower than the thorax, roughly punctured, running into striae on the anterior portion of the face; the mandibles stout and strongly punctured; the flagellum and legs ferruginous. Thorax ovate, finely and sparingly punctured; the first node emarginate above, the second transverse; wings ample, subhyaline, yellowish at their base, the nervures pale rufo-testaceous, the stigma fuscous. Abdomen oblong, with the margins of the segments slightly depressed, and thinly sprinkled, as well as the head, thorax and legs, with short pale glittering hairs.</paragraph>
