Face slightly convex, almost flat, with protuberance. Inner margins of eyes slightly convergent ventrad. Clypeus weakly separated from face by shallow impression, projecting anteriorly. Apical margin of clypeus thin, with long setae. Clypeal foveae small. Malar space narrow, 0.2 times as wide as basal mandible width. Outer face of mandible with impression basally. Lower mandible tooth longer than upper, lower margin sharp. The occipital carina complete, not reaching the hypostomal carina. Head matt, granulate.
