Shell small, ovate-conic, whorls convex, aperture subpyriform, peristome moderately thickened, inner lip narrowly separated from parietal wall, narrowly umbilicate. Columella bears distinct fold covered in minute denticles. Sculpture of growth lines and weak axial ribs. Protoconch of about 1.1 whorls, minutely granulate. Operculum reddish, subpyriform, paucispiral, inner surface without white smear, without protuberance(s). Radula with median cusp of central teeth longer and much wider than adjacent cusps; lateral margins narrow; innermost of two pairs of basal cusps very small. Male with prostate gland bean-shaped, about half of length in pallial wall. Pallial vas deferens strongly folded. Penis with long, tapering distal part, wider middle section and wide base; penial duct coiled in base. Female with coiled oviduct rather short, forming simple arch or loop. Bursa copulatrix lies beneath albumen gland and at front edge of globular bursa copulatrix. Anterior half capsule gland blind pocket. Vestibule expanded anteriorly as muscular protuberance extending forwards and nearly as long as capsule gland, with genital opening at anterior end and no associated cowl or gutter present.
