Dark brown. Frons and vertex flat, quadrate, densely and uniformly punctate, covered with dense pubescence; genae deeply rugose, apex shallow but pointing forward. Anterior part of head slightly narrowed. Antennal sockets flat and widely spaced. Antennae light brown, sparsely covered with a fine pubescence, and bearing a few longer yellowish setae, especially at apex and on inner side. Scape brown, densely and coarsely punctate, covered with scarce, long setae. Third antennomere flattened, wider at its apex, covered by fine pubescence and longer yellowish setae, equivalent in length to other antennomeres.

Pronotum dark brown, quadrate, slightly wider at middle, densely, deeply punctate, with long setae, anterior part with fringe of short whitish setae. Scutellum brown, surface micro-sculptured, distinct punctation lacking. Prosternum, metasternum, and hind-coxae densely and deeply punctate, with long setae, gently wrinkled, rugose anteriorly. Fore legs inserted on first third of thorax. Femur and tibia deeply and densely punctate, bearing long yellowish setae. First tarsus segment long, equivalent in length to other segments combined.
