Morphologically matches diagnosis of

based on descriptions in

. Forms a unique monophyletic clade distinct from other AB01 specimens. No genetic matches on GenBank or Barcode of Life Database. The type material was collected in the Pacific Ocean at a similar depth to our material (8°30'S; 85°36'W, 4300m depth).
