The one cited by Bouchard et al. (2011) and Kury et al. (2020), Friedrich Fleischer, as far as I could find, is mentioned only on the 1834 title page as the bookseller in Leipzig, and is also probably incorrect as the editor. Other important works citing Perty's book have simply omitted the editor altogether (e. g., Sherborn 1922; Blackwelder 1957; Scherer 1983; Monne 2005; Bousquet 2016). In my opinion, however, there is no doubt that Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius (1794 - 1868) was the editor of this book.
