(Latin) refers to a related fungal genus; and
<emphasis id="DFDCB871EE2510CA161233F9281476ED" italics="true">kesseensis</emphasis>
(Latin) indicates locality of the type species. The name depicts phylogenetic relatedness to
<emphasis id="186D08C1A6109DB50F97997C2BC170DB" italics="true">Entrophosphora</emphasis>
and the only locality where the type species has been recorded.
