. Head dark fuscous, labial palpus upturned, sement 3 narrow and pointed compared with segment 2; antenna about half length of wing. Thorax and tegulae dark fuscous. Forewing ground colour dark fuscous, outer half of costa orange, interrupted by a dark fuscous spot at ⅚, a whitish subterminal line of variable width; terminal fringe whitish below apex and above tornus. Hindwing dark fuscous with two whitish fascias further separated from each other towards costa, in between them black, terminal fringe black interrupted by white below apex and above tornus.
