In general appearance this species resembles

with the dark head and pronotum with a median longitudinal apodeme in both sexes. However, it is particularly unusual in having the mesopresternum complete, and tergites IIVII each with 2 pairs of sigmoid wing-retaining setae. Also, the major body setae are pointed, and antennal segment III has two well-developed sense cones. The female from Lamington listed above is very similar to the
<typeStatus id="5486E6F8FF825C5CFE89FF2E1E11FF24" box="[302,350,153,179]" pageId="15" pageNumber="68">type</typeStatus>
series but has only one sense cone on antennal segment III. The two females from Brisbane Forest Park and Mt. Glorious are also very similar to the
<typeStatus id="5486E6F8FF825C5CFD6EFF081C4BFF4E" box="[713,772,191,217]" pageId="15" pageNumber="68">types</typeStatus>
but have the antennal segments more robust and angular.
