Diagnosis. Length of body.

(male). Head. Frons brown, broad, about one-third of head-width. Fronto-orbital plate, face and parafacial golden pruinose. Gena silver pruinose. Fronto-orbital plate and parafacial setulose. Antenna and arista dark brown; tip of postpedicel rounded. Palpus yellow on basal third and brown on apical half, gradually enlarged towards apex and not very dilated. Vibrissa long. Thorax. Scutum with 3 dark brown vittae. Postpronotum and notopleuron grey dusted. Dorsocentrals 2+4, the first 2 postsutural pairs very short. Haltere yellow. Calypters white. Meron with short setulae above hind coxa. Legs. Coxae grey dusted, yellow posteriorly; femora brown, grey dusted, yellow at tip; tibiae yellow and tarsi brown. Fore tibia without posterior seta. Mid femur with 2 posterior preapical setae. Mid tibia with 1 median posterior to posterodorsal seta; without anterodorsal and anteroventral. Hind tibia with 1 median anterodorsal and 1 submedian anteroventral setae; without posterodorsal; 1 dorsal preapical.Arolium and pulvillus not enlarged. Wing. Costal spine distinct. Vein M straight. Abdomen. Sternite 1 setulose.
