The male of this species is very similar to that of

<emphasis id="5298EAE9FFAE0874E46EFB6363FBFB3D" box="[837,943,1220,1246]" italics="true" pageId="12" pageNumber="513">P. flavida</emphasis>
</taxonomicName>
, but is easily distinguishable from the latter by the shape of the median dorsal process of tergum X. A pair of small tubercules are present apicoventrally in this species (
