Head wider than mesosoma, completely smooth and bearing no sulci (at most antennal scrobes present as very shallow depressions), with frons distinctly convex; lower face narrowed, antennae inserted below lower eye margins; sculpture of dorsum light to alutaceous. This group is similar to the
