Body brown, with paler lateroapical portion of head, lateral and basal portion of elytra (some specimens with uniformly paler elytra in contrast to the body), paratergites and apical tergites of abdomen in some specimens (some specimens with slightly darker abdominal tergites V–VII in middle); antennomeres 6–11 yellow-brown to brown; mouthparts, antennomeres 1–5 and legs yellowish (two preapical segments of maxillary palpomeres distintly darker in some specimens). Head (including neck), pronotum and scutellum without punctures; elytra with moderately fine and dense punctation, sometimes finer along suture and indistinct in apical portions; abdomen with very indistinct dense punctation. Head with regular and very strong coarse microsculpture, sometimes slightly finer in middle and coarser on infraorbital portions; neck with fine or relatively coarse and dense isodiametric or transverse meshes; microsculpture of pronotum about as that in middle portion of head or slightly stronger and coarser; scutellum with dense and coarse transverse or isodiametric meshes; microsculpture of elytra isodiametric and very dense, slightly finer and sometimes larger than that in pronotum, usually denser and finer in parascutellar portion and along suture; abdomen with very dense isodiametric microsculpture, distinctly transverse in abdominal tergites VI–VIII in some specimens.

<paragraph id="294A369BFFFD6D4CD68DDF65BF370127" blockId="20.[151,1437,802,2034]" pageId="20" pageNumber="271">Head 1.4–1.7 times as broad as long, with moderately wide and deep anteocellar foveae, sublinear or slightly diverging posteriad, about as long as diameter of ocellus or slightly longer, reaching level of posterior third or about middle length of eyes; postocular carina absent or very indistinct, obtuse. Ocelli moderately large, located about at level of postocular ridges; distance between ocelli about as long as or slightly greater than distance between ocellus and posterior margin of eyes. Apical maxillary palpomere about twice as long as preapical segment, or slightly shorter. Antennomere 4 distinctly longer than broad, 5 slightly broader than 4, 6 distinctly broader than 5, 7 slightly broader and longer than 6, 8–9 slightly shorter than 7, 10 slightly longer than 9, apical antennomere about 1.2 times as long as 10.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="294A369BFFFD6D4CD68DDE59BF2201B1" blockId="20.[151,1437,802,2034]" pageId="20" pageNumber="271">Pronotum 1.6–1.7 times as broad as long, 1.2–1.3 times as broad as head, widest in middle, slightly more narrowed posteriad than anteriad; posterior angles subacute or obtuse; middle portion with slightly impressed medioapical portion in some specimens and with two indistinct to distinct wide and moderately long paramedian impressions.</paragraph>
