Distinguished from other congeners by its rather small size, fuscous, subparallel-sided body, weakly shining dorsum, somewhat disarranged silvery, scalelike setae on hemelytron, and form of male genitalia.

Body generally fuscous, subparallel-sided, weakly constricted (HCR more than 0.8); dorsal surface weakly shining, partly matt. Head with sparsely distributed, simple, semierect setae and short, scalelike setae; base of vertex with dark, stiff setae. Antenna pale brown; segment I more or less darkened at base; segment II weakly terete with reddish apical 1/31/2; segments III and IV dark brown, with pale extreme bases. Labium pale reddish brown, reaching base of mesocoxa; segment I and apical part of segment IV darkened. Pronotum somewhat roughened, with uniformly distributed, dark, short, semierect setae; pleura dark brown, pruinosed, with sparsely distributed, scalelike setae along posterior margin of epimeron; scutellum flat, shallowly and transversely rugose, sparsely with scalelike setae anterolaterally. Hemelytron partly matt anteriorly, with 2 somewhat zigzagged fascia of scalelike setae (posterior fascia sometimes more scattered) and with uniformly distributed, dark, simple, reclining setae; membrane dark smoky brown. All coxae, except for dark apical half of procoxa, creamy yellow; femur dark brown, partly reddish; bases of meso- and metafemora creamy yellow; tibia generally reddish brown; tarsi pale brown, except for each tarsomere III widely darkened. Abdomen shiny fuscous; lateral parts of abdominal sterna V and VI each with a bunch of scalelike setae. Male genitalia (
