<paragraph id="82FE594FB18CD5964B9A0142F4EAABAB" pageId="7" pageNumber="52">The adult shell consists of three whorls; the first two glassy whorls form an antrorse apex that is not always clearly recognizable, the last whorl is the main part of the shell. The large transversely oval mouth is elongated at the bottom and has a broad, thickened columellar lip. The white background colour of the shell is replaced by several different wide longitudinal or spiral yellow-brown to orange bands. On the basal part of the last whorl and towards the lip these bands frequently merge into dotted areas.</paragraph>
