Krekeler, 1958: 175. Type locality: &quot;Clifty Caves, four miles north of Campbellsburg, Washington Co[unty], Ind[iana]&quot; (original citation). Holotype (♂) in FMNH. Etymology. The specific name was proposed in honor of Frank Nelson Young, Jr. [1915-1998], professor at the University of Indiana. Young published on many subjects, including herpetology, malacology, and medical entomology, but he is best known for his work on water beetles and periodical cicadas.
