. The taxa of the species group superficially differ from other congeners in the strongly angled ante- and postmedial lines. The male genital capsule is characterised by the serrulate transtilla, the distally tapered valva with a small distal lobe and an elongate, unilobate distal saccular process. . Head yellow with black dot on frons. Thorax yellow with black dot medio-posteriorly. Tegula and patagia yellow with black dot medially, edged with reddish scales. Forewing ground colour deep yellow with narrow scarlet stripes between veins. Pattern elements dark greyish-brown. Subbasal spot small, dot-like. Antemedial line angled in cell, interrupted into spots on veins connected by suffusion between veins. Medial line nearly straight medially and posteriorly and smoothly curved inwards at costa, interrupted into spots on veins. Postmedial line broader than antemedial and medial ones, diffuse, interrupted into short dash-shaped spots on veins connected by suffusion between veins. Postmedial area with short oblique line from cell to subapical area of costal margin interrupted into short lengthwise dashes of different sizes proximally fused with dashes of angled section of postmedial line. Cilia monotonous deep yellow. Hindwing pink with yellow suffusion. Abdomen pale scarlet.

. Uncus elongate and slender, slightly down curved medially, dilated distally, tapered subapically, with tiny claw-shaped tip. Tuba analis with thin and weakly sclerotised scaphium and subscaphium represented as setose area. Tegumen moderately broad. Vinculum equal to tegumen or somewhat shorter, V-shaped. Valva lobular, strongly dilated medially and tapered distally, with small distal membranous lobe. Medial costal process triangular with rectangular tip. Distal costal process very short, spike- or crest-like. Basal saccular process strongly elongate, slender, apically pointed, with smoothly up curved distal section. Juxta X-shaped, consisting of two sclerotised plates connected by medial narrow lengthwise membranous commissure. Phallus large, somewhat shorter than tegumen-vinculum complex, cylindrical, nearly straight, slightly constricted medially. Vesica broad (in proportion to phallus size). 1

medial diverticulum short but broad, semiglobular, bearing broad cluster of numerous short triangular cornuti of various sizes apically and medially, and scobination basally. Basal plate of vesica ejaculatorius long, broadly triangular, heavily sclerotised.
<emphasis id="A4F9806DFFA9827B73FDFDC9FBE0FD6B" bold="true" box="[896,1095,618,645]" pageId="2" pageNumber="255">Female genitalia</emphasis>
. Papilla analis trapezoid with rounded corners, weakly setose. Apophyses long and thin, more or less equal in length. Ductus bursae elongate and broad, dorso-ventrally flattened, sclerotised with membranous margins and anterior end, its posterior section with several lengthwise subostial folds. Corpus bursae broad, globular, weakly scobinated with cluster of strong spinulose scobination medio-ventrally and broad rugose medial sclerotised plate dorsally fused with sclerotised base of appendix bursae. Appendix bursae positioned postero-laterally on right side, sclerotised with membranous terminal section, broadly conical basally and narrowly conical and slightly twisted distally.
