The New Brunswick specimens were collected in Lindgren funnel traps deployed in an old (120- to 180-year-old trees) red pine forest, an old red oak forest, an old-growth northern hardwood forest, and an old-growth white spruce and balsam fir forest. Adults were collected during May, June, July, August, and September in New Brunswick and Quebec.
