can be distinguished from its female congeners by the following combination of traits: face, mesoscutum, tegula, and coxae predominantly black; ovipositor sheath ~2.5× as long as metatibia; wings softly infuscate, with apical and preapical blackish bands. While, males can be distinguished by the mesoscutum entirely black and wings softly infuscate, with apical and preapical blackish bands.
