. Anteclypeus, labrum, antennae, peduncles of femora reddish brown; disc of pronotum and legs (except peduncles of femora) dark reddish brown; remaining parts blackish brown. Elytra with a wide, slightly raised yellowish ivory fascia, wide at external margin and narrow at suture, covering between basal 1.5/10 and apical 4/10; the fascia divided transversely by a complete zigzag dark band; a small subround whitish ivory spot on disc before apex (®gure 11).

. Slightly narrower than prothorax; frons and vertex with dense subround punctures, dense golden-pale depressed hairs and a few long whitish yellow erect hairs at lateral sides of frons and vertex. No carinae between antennal tubercles; distance between lower lobes of eyes more than twice but less than three times distance between antennal socket and lateral angle of post clypeus, and more than 1.5 times but less than twice distance between upper lobes of eyes. Antennae distinctly longer than body; segments 3±6 with apical spines; segment 3 more than seven times length of its apical spine, and distinctly longer than scape, segments 4 or 5; scape not grooved above.

. Prothorax distinctly longer than wide. Pronotum rugged, un-nitid, with ®ve distinctly raised and two slightly raised nodules on disc, all nodules rugose, granulose and un-nitid: one at centre, oval; anterior pair just before middle, large, conical; medial pair behind middle, very small and of irregular form, and posterior pair at sub-base, large and subround; the interspace of nodules rugose, granulose and un-nitid (except a small area in front of central nodule), with fairly dense or sparse punctures, each producing a long whitish yellow erect hair, and with dense golden-pal e depressed hairs; small rounded tubercles at lateral sides. Scutellum subtriangular with dense golden-pal e depressed hairs. Metasternum with dense punctures and fairly dense depressed hairs. Elytra subparallel or slightly tapering, nitid, three times as long as or slightly less than three times length of prothorax; apex subtruncate with a small tooth at marginal angle; basal half of disc with dense, large and deep punctures, about 1/4±1/5 of the punctures producing long whitish yellow erect hairs; apical half of disc with dense but small punctures, about three-quarters producing very short depressed hairs and one-quarter producing long erect hairs. Abdomen with sparse punctures and fairly sparse depressed hairs.

Eighth sternite rounded at sides; setae present in mid-terminal area; dense microspines on ventral surface. Apex of eighth tergite truncate.
