Body reddish brown; ocelli, basal third of pronotum, apical margins of elytra, legs, abdominal tergites VIIVIII (and sometimes abdominal tergite VI) yellow brown; scutellum reddish brown with brown lateral margins; each elytron with moderately wide yellow brown macula, extending from shoulders towards suture; antennae yellow to yellow brown; mouthparts and tarsi yellow. Pubescence of body short and tender, decumbent, yellow. Punctation of head very dense, irregular and moderately deep and small; pronotum with slightly denser punctation than that on head; scutellum with dense small punctation; abdominal tergites with fine sparse punctures. Forebody glossy, without microsculpture; abdomen glossy, with well defined isodiametric microsculpture. Habitus as in
