DIAGNOSIS: The members of this species may easily be confused with the superficially similar specimens of

n. sp., also from

. However, the members of this species are distiguished from those of
<emphasis id="B96DEAFBFF80FFE1FDABFD45A2D34685" box="[554,645,663,686]" italics="true" pageId="46" pageNumber="47">P. aura</emphasis>
, n. sp. by the gritty property of the elytral interstitial spaces and by the subtle, but consistent, differences of antennomeres eight and nine (compare figs. 217218). The anterodistal margin of the eighth antennomere is much less concave than it is in the
