K) oblong, convex dorsally, strongly shiny, closely covered with silver setae. Coloration of body blackish brown, but mouthparts, antennae, lateral parts of pronotum and legs paler.

Eyes moderate in size, prominent; the distance between eyes about 2.0 times as long as the maximum diameter of an eye. Antennae moderate in length, reaching about proximal 1/5 of elytra. Pronotum densely punctate; anterolateral corners right angled; postero-lateral corners obtuse; anterior and lateral margins straight; posterior margin gently arcuate; PW/PL 2.112.60 (2.35). Scutellar shield punctate as on head, equilaterally triangular. Elytra oblong, subparallel-sided near base to apical 1/3, punctate as on pronotum; humeral parts gently projecting dorsolaterally; apices right-angled; EL/EW 1.461.50 (1.48); EL/PL 4.345.27 (4.80); EW/PW 1.38; TL/EW 1.741.85 (1.79). Legs moderate in length, slender.</paragraph>
