Elytra on each interval with two irregular rows of semierect, short, subspatulate setae, setae as long as third the width of one interval; distance of two setae about 23 as long as length of one seta. ) 1.34× as wide as long, widest at base, tapered anteriad with distinctly concave sides, at base 1.19× as wide as at apex, pterygia not projecting from outline of rostrum. Epifrons narrow, subparallel-sided with slightly concave sides, with shallow, ill-defined longitudinal furrow. Frons glabrous, short. Epistome not developed. Scrobes dorsally well visible, narrowly reniform; laterally short, only at anterior half of rostrum then perishing, weakly curved and enlarged posteriad. Rostrum separated from head by shallow transverse furrow. Eyes distinctly vaulted and prominent from outline of head; vertex wide, vaulted.

Funicle segment 1 twice as long as wide and 1.2× as long as segment 2, which is 1.3× as long as wide; segment 3 1.1× as wide as long; segment 4 1.2× as wide as long; segment 5 1.4× as wide as long; segment 6 1.5× as wide as long; segment 7 1.7× as wide as long; club 1.6× as long as wide.</paragraph>
